Hailey and Duncan had a brunch wedding at Riverwood Mansion back in September. They had a private ceremony with their parents before their public ceremony, and it was intimate and beautiful. Hailey looked like a model out of a vintage magazine and their classic wedding included cocktails and lawn games and piles of donuts after brunch. Honored to document Hailey and Duncan's story.

The beauty of a still photo is that they can be calm and beautiful and you feel like you can just live in that moment forever. Any parent can attest to this, that behind the scenes, it's quite another story. You have about a half a second to savor the moment, and then the babies are off on another wild adventure. The picture of Jessi and South at the end is one of my favorites, this moment lasted for no more than a split second and then South wriggled away, but luckily for Jessi, that split second is frozen in time. Love you all, Williams family! Thank you for letting me document your family year after year!
We just got back from an incredible trip to NYC last night, so it makes me happy to post this urban engagement session from our very own 5 points in East Nashville. The color in the first photo is so soothing and pretty, but just know I sacrificed my left chaco to dog poop to get the shot. Later, a giant bug landed on my eyeball and I only freaked out for about 30 seconds. Aside from all that, the light was right and these two are fun and we drank beer and ate pizza and it was a success. Looking forward to your wedding in November! No question it's going to be a party!
East Nashville lovin'.
