A morning of ominous skies and blustering winds opened up into a gorgeous sky--perfectly framing the rustic (and oh, so pretty) Old School, setting the scene for incredible day with an amazing couple.

Alicia and her friends danced, sang, and hula-hooped with the cute ring bearer and flower girl to stave off the pre-ceremony jitters. The little ones delighted guests as they held hands up the aisle and adorably wandered around together before finding their seats. The ceremony was intimate and emotional--Alicia's brothers walked her down the aisle and Robbie’s reaction had tears streaming down our faces.

Alicia and Robbie are both foodies--he studied at culinary school and now is the operations manager at What Chefs Want. Naturally, the food (catered by The Old School) was incredible. Alicia is a graphic designer and designed their beautiful stationery for the day. DJ BlackCircle spun vinyl, creating an awesome vibe for their laid back reception, which was complete with hula-hooping and gourmet s'mores.

The bride and groom were surrounded by sparklers and cheers as they made an exit to their limo, which had been hilariously decorated by their friends with balloons and shaving cream for their getaway.

Thanks, so much, to Alicia and Robbie for a fun and heartwarming day!  (Thank you also to The Old School for such exceptional coordination!)

We had a total blast working with this adorable couple and were so excited to celebrate with them last summer! Sarah and Patrick are both music lovers (Sarah is a music teacher and Patrick is a composer, arranger, and conductor) so, of course, the ceremony began with an awesome jazz band setting the tone for a unique and fun day. Sarah was a beauty in her ballgown dress, and the Ruby was the perfect backdrop for their sweet wedding. Sarah and Patrick were married under the copper arbor her father made for them. The morning ceremony ended with an intimate prayer--everyone reached out to hold hands and shoulders, connecting family and friends in a heartfelt blessing for the new couple.

While the room was being flipped from the ceremony to the reception, the guests relaxed with mimosas and coffee out on the patio. Brunch was served--a delicious buffet of hot chicken and waffles, frittatas, and a tower of an assortment of donuts from Five Daughters and Dunkin' Donuts--a fun twist on the traditional wedding cake. The couple had gathered a TON of board games from home for guests to play throughout the reception, while we snapped a few last pictures outside in Dragon Park.  It was nearly 95 degrees that day (whew!!)--totally opposite from their engagement session, which was on one of the coldest days in January. (See those photos here!) The reception came to an end as the couple made their exit, surrounded by bubbles and cheers.

We are so grateful to Sarah and Patrick for allowing us to be a part of their day--and to Stephanie and Hannah-Kate at Ruby for planning/coordinating such a special and unique wedding celebration!

Kasey and John are such a super sweet couple! We loved shooting their destination wedding on the grounds of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. While K+J currently live in North Carolina, they first met at the Magic Kingdom (where John eventually proposed) during their time at the Disney College Program. Before the ceremony, Kasey’s excited energy was growing. Once she met John at the altar it was clear he puts her at peace; it was beautiful to watch. They were totally adorable--giggling and smiling all through their photos, so happy to be together.

The details of this wedding were so delightful--from the string quartet playing during the ceremony, to John's cute craw-fish boil groom's cake (an homage to his home state, Louisiana), to the sweet vintage furniture set up outside the reception tent, creating the perfect spot to relax and soak up the amazing colorful sunset during dinner.

We are so happy for this lovely couple and had such a fun time celebrating with them!

In the heart of downtown Nashville, late spring burst into bloom as we celebrated the wedding of Marshall and Bryna at the beautiful Cordelle. M + B's romance has read like a fairy tale, from their first encounter at a jewelry store on Valentine's Day (adorable, I know!), to their flawless wedding, where no detail was overlooked.  We were so impressed by how personal the touches were--they brought crystals from their home which really made the table decor!

One of the most heartwarming memories was the dance Bryna shared with her dad. It was such a sweet and emotional moment--there was not a dry eye in the room. During the reception, we were able to sneak off and steal a few last pictures beneath a perfect sunset on the pedestrian bridge nearby. Well-wishing passerbys joined in on the celebration with honks and cheers of congratulations.

We couldn't be more honored to share in this unforgettable day. Thank you to Erin Lennon from Without a Hitch for coordinating the day!
